I'm Courtney, writing currently as "C.M. Horton" while I work on my first series of books—a sci-fi space opera. As a fan of urban fantasy and a super-fan of sci-fi books and TV shows, I hoped to blend the two a bit in my first large-scale writing attempt. Universal world building, adventures across space, rich characters, strong female protagonists, and a little bit of whimsy.

 

But, for now, this is all just for fun and learning my craft. Gotta start somewhere, right? So, please forgive the rough edges while I figure out this process of becoming an author and discover how to talk about (and promote) myself.
